R/C Truck show Indy 2008
This years R/C Truck-show in Indianapolis was a blast !
Who ever couldn't make it missed out on a lot of cool action !
My friend Ric Murphy - Precision Models Distributor ( www.Gardentrucking.com )
and his team finished up the setup when I arrived Friday morning.
By Friday noon everything was ready to go and we had already a lot of trucking-action going.
People just flooded in Friday and Saturday .
It was very nice to see that these type of R/C models gain more and more interest .
While Ric answered question and his wife Cheryl run the show-shop ,
the rest of us entertained the crowed with awesome trucking-action .
With new truckers and new clubs showing up ,
we had a full program going on over the entire weekend .
( Friday till about 11:30 PM and Saturday till , well actually Sunday morning 01:00 AM )
Sunday 02:00 PM was the end of this exciting weekend .
Since I was so busy with keeping all my stuff running , having fun with my buddies,
and also fixing , repairing some truckers little problems ,
I didn't had much chance to take videos or photos …
I just took a few quick snap-shots ( from only 1/2 the layout and mainly from my own stuff ) on Sunday ,
just before we started packing everything up .
I am sure we will have some cool photos from other truckers popping up soon ..
Lee did again , like every year , his video-documentation ,
means soon we will have a exciting DVD coming out from the 2008 Indy R/C truck-show .
For me personally the 1/16 scale model of a Clark&Son 300 ton low-boy
was the highlight of the show ….
