Willy's Pershing
my Pershing after the return to TN from the November battle-day in Danville,VA

Pershing evaluation
since quite  while I had 2 Pershing's ,new in box, sitting in my shelf ,
but just didn't found the time to build them...
just 2 days before the November battle-day in Danville ,
I found an already build Pershing for sale....
I could not withstand and had that baby shipped overnight from CA to TN...
I knew from my battle-companions that the Pershing is a very tricky tank to get it battle-ready ...
mainly because of the very limited space inside ....
the first few Pershings used in battle on the Danville proofing-ground ,
broke down because of turret-rotation or gun-elevation problems
caused by the wiring tangled up in the turret or hull...
beside that you can not exchange the battery without disassembling the upper hull
it's also impossible to do any maintenance on the motors or gearboxes
without complied disassembling of this tank...
that was for me unacceptable...
therefore I had to do my "fixes" before the " take-off " to Danville....
in the following photos you will see what needs to be changed and modified
to have fun on the battle-field with this good performing tank ( after the modifications ! )

( under construction )
